/Creative philosophy

Xiao is a global citizen with a love for both culture and nature. She produces designs inspired by her passion for history of art and design, modern art, technology and fantasy. Xiao is driven to find solutions that strike a balance between aesthetics and functionality. Xiao is fascinated by the beauty of the body and has a great eye for proportion. Xiao’s love for and involvement in outdoor sports, provides her with a grounded understanding of the demands of design in this sector. Xiao’s broad range of experience enables her to ‘cross-pollenate’ her designs for different sectors, drawing on and combining a vast array of ideas.

/About Xiao

Xiao is a London based footwear designer & developer. She is adventurous, energetic, and passionate with a spontaneous creative mind and a curiosity for discovery and research. She believes in a hands-on approach to design, pattern-making, construction, and solution-making for projects. Her 8 years of experience of designing and making shoes have provided her with an extensive knowledge of footwear for luxury womenswear, menswear, sportswear shoes and children’s shoes. Xiao is experienced working with factories in Italy, England, Portugal, Brazil and the Far East. She excels in both hand drawing and the production of computer-based CADs.
